DEVOTED wants to foster, improve, deepen and broaden the competencies (knowledge, attitudes, skills) of professionals involved in teaching, training and guidance of disadvantaged target groups.
By collecting, selecting, standardizing, finalizing, disseminating and exploiting pedagogical and didactic good practices the aim of the DEVOTED project is to keep the educational system as attractive as possible and prevent students from dropping out.

During the last decades many European projects focused on the development of tools, methodologies and instruments oriented on working with disadvantaged young adults. Main goal was to decrease the number of early school leavers, in line with the (revamped) Lisbon strategy.
Until now there was no systematic approach to collect good practices and make them transferable, accessible and standardized on a European scale. DEVOTED wants to fill this gap.
